Our ESOL and EFL courses are for people who want to learn or improve their English skills in speaking, listening, reading and writing.

ESOL Information, Advice & Guidance will help you to get started on the best learning programme for you.

You will meet our teachers and discuss your learning needs. We will help you to choose the right courses to achieve your goals.

Course Content

ESOL Information, Advice & Guidance session will help you to get started on the right learning programme. You will meet our teachers and discuss your individual learning needs one-to-one. We will help you to identify the right courses to help you achieve your goals. We will tell you what you need to know to be a successful ESOL or EFL learner at RHACC.

If all our general ESOL Information, Advice & Guidance sessions are full, you can still come along to one of our Open Days.

Entry Requirements

To be eligible for this course you must be 19 or over on 31st August prior to the course start date.

Before coming to ESOL Information, Advice & Guidance session you need to have assessed your current English skills in our learning centre.

You can do this at any time the College is open. It will take up to an hour, or longer for higher level learners.

No previous knowledge or experience of learning English is necessary

First Class Requirements

Please bring any certificates or evidence of prior achievement on English courses

Additional Information

After this course ESOL learners can start learning on a Step into ESOL workshop. We'll get you started learning English and you'll learn how to be a successful ESOL learner at RHACC.
ESOL and EFL learners will progress onto our wider programme of ESOL or EFL courses by enrolling at reception and paying the course fees.
