Why Study This Course?

Safeguarding is everyone’s responsibility. This accredited Level 2 Award provides learners with a clear understanding of safeguarding principles and practices, helping them recognise concerns, respond appropriately, and contribute to creating safe environments for children, young people and adults.
The course is suitable for individuals already working in, or planning to work in, education (e.g. as a teacher or teaching assistant), health, adult social care, the early years sector, community services, voluntary organisations, customer service roles, or any setting where safeguarding knowledge is important. It also supports continuing professional development (CPD) for existing staff and volunteers.
Successful completion of this qualification demonstrates your commitment to promoting wellbeing, safety and professional practice in the workplace. The qualification has a credit value of 2 credits at Level 2.
