Block Printing Tote Bags for Families

This famly workshop will allow you to learn to design, carve and print your own unique pattern on a tote bag.

You will be able to take home your hand-carved rubber block for future projects, including printing on other fabric items, greeting cards and wrapping paper

Course Content

You will be shown how to carve the rubber block safely. There will be templates and design ideas for printing. You will learn how to assemble the printing blocks and how to apply inks and paints before printing your own tote bag to take away.

Entry Requirements

To be eligible for this course you must be 19 or over on the start date of the course.

This workshop is for families from 6 - 12 years and must be accompanied by an adult.

First Class Requirements

Clothes that you don’t mind getting messy.

Additional Information

As a result of the government’s closure of schools and colleges, some of our courses will be delivered through remote learning including video conferencing, (using Skype, Zoom, Microsoft Teams) and email contact with your tutor.

If your course is indicated as an ONLINE COURSE, you will need either a PC (with a camera and microphone), laptop, tablet, smartphone and access to the internet to be able to join the lessons. Lessons will run at the published time – so be ready and set up to join in.
