You’ll learn a range of techniques, from pinching to throwing, and choose how you want to shape the clay. Perfect for beginners, this course will help you master the basics and create unique ceramic pieces. Please note there is an additional cost of approx. £50 – £100 for materials on this course.

To be eligible for this course you must:
Be 19 or over on 31st August prior to the course start date.
Your progress will be assessed using Personal Learning Plans (PLPs) and regular discussions with your tutor. You'll track your practice through written notes, and your tutor will provide written responses, helping you gauge your progression and personal development.
No food or drink is allowed in the studio; a hub area nearby is available for snacks and drinks. You will need to pay for materials used and for firing. Details will be provided in the first class. You may bring your own materials, but there is no on-site storage unless purchased from the college.
Please allow 15 minutes at the end of each class to tidy up.
