Python is a clear and powerful object-oriented programming language, comparable to Perl, Ruby, Scheme, or Java.

This course builds further on your existing Python knowledge to intermediate level and is suitable for anyone aspiring to work in software development or upskill in their present role

Course Content

Gain more confidence with data types
Develop your use of conditional statements further
Introduce use of windowing apps
Importing and manipulating data and databases
Write further python programs

Entry Requirements

To be eligible for this course you must be 19 or over on 31st August prior to the course start date.

Completion of Python introduction or equivalent knowledge of data types, variables, built-in functions, conditionals, being able to make simple python programs.

Good computer literacy is essential to succeed on this course.

First Class Requirements

You may wish to bring a pen and a notepad to take notes if required.

Regular attendance is essential.
