Confidence and Self-Esteem Workshop (Hillcroft Campus, Surbiton)

(Women Only)

We are proud of our diverse learner groups, and range of support to enable access for all learners regardless of ability or background. However, we also recognize that some women benefit from the supportive and close-knit environment of a women-only class, which can help to develop the skills, confidence and ambition to succeed in mainstream education, work and community settings.

Some women have been socially marginalised because they left school with few or no qualifications, have a disability or have had their education or career plans disrupted by caring responsibilities.

Some women have also experienced abusive or unhealthy relationships with friends, partners or family, and this can be an additional barrier to moving on.

Increasing confidence and self-esteem is an essential part of leading a healthy lifestyle. Being able to make appropriate choices and decisions are central to self-esteem and increasing confidence. This workshop is useful to those learners who wish to increase their understanding of confidence and self-esteem.
