This course will help you explore counselling skills and the theory behind them. You will learn practical skills and gain insights into the world of counselling. At the end of the course, you will be able to apply for the full Level 2 qualification course, taking the next step towards your counselling career.
There are no formal entry requirements for this introductory course.
However, you will need English at Level 2 to progress to the full qualification course.
Your tutor will assess your progress based on how well you meet the learning outcomes and your personal goals. Successful completion of this course allows you to apply for the Level 2 qualification course, opening doors to further study and a career in counselling.
This course is delivered either over two full days or four weeks of three-hour sessions. For all counselling courses, you will need access to a computer with a microphone and webcam, as work will be submitted electronically. We're here to support you every step of the way.
