Dance and Movement for over 55s

This is a fun, group movement games, music and choreography class for those over the age of 55.
The focus is on building the strength, flexibility and movement range, but, above all, lifting up the spirits and enjoying a weekly session of interaction which keeps you moving and smiling.
The content is the mixture of drama games, stretching, a series of choreography to songs, including different types of dance, cool-down and relaxation.
It's all designed to bring the group together, enjoy expressing yourself through movement and learning new co-ordination. The relaxation in the end is an important part of the process too, as it is designed to clear and focus the mind and set you off on an open and positive journey through the rest of the day.

Entry Requirements

To be eligible for this course you must be 19 or over on the start date of the course.

Remote Learning:
Some of our courses are now delivered through remote learning, including video conferencing (using Microsoft Teams, Zoom, Skype) and email contact with your tutor.

If your course is indicated as an ONLINE COURSE, you will need either a PC (with a camera and microphone), laptop, tablet, smartphone and access to the internet to be able to join the lessons. Lessons will run at the published time – so be ready and set up to join in.
