Developing Emotional Resilience - Level 1 Award OCNLR

This course will explore what is meant by emotional resilience. It will help you develop personal responses to new social, environmental, and emotional situations, and learn ways of to develop emotional resilience.

Course Content

At the end of the course you will:
understand what is meant by the term ?emotional resilience?.
be able to apply your learning to new social, environmental, and emotional situations
be able to develop emotional resilience.

You will be assessed via the production of a short portfolio and, with support from your tutor, you will also create your own individual learning plan.

Entry Requirements

To be eligible for this course you must be 19 or over on 31st August prior to the course start date.

There are no formal entry requirements for this Level 1 course. However, in order to be able to fully engage with the learning you should have a minimum of Entry Level 3 literacy skills.

Remote Learning:
Some of our courses are now delivered through remote learning, including video conferencing (using Microsoft Teams, Zoom, Skype) and email contact with your tutor.

If your course is indicated as an ONLINE COURSE, you will need either a PC (with a camera and microphone), laptop, tablet, smartphone and access to the internet to be able to join the lessons. Lessons will run at the published time – so be ready and set up to join in.
