This intensive short course is aimed at budding filmmakers who are interested in writing, filming and editing their own film.

Course Content

This practical course will give you a grounding in writing, filming and editing your own short fiction film, providing an ideal grounding for the budding filmmaker

Day One: Scriptwriting 101; Filmmaking 101; Camera Workshop:
Day Two: Lighting; Crew Roles; Scheduling; Pre-Production Paperwork:
Day Three: Filming:
Day Four: Filming / Editing:
Day Five: Editing; Exporting:

Course outcomes:

• You will be supported to write a short film script
• You will learn how to plan a shoot effectively
• You will learn how to operate a DSLR camera for filming
• You will learn to shoot narrative fiction on set
• You will edit a film using Adobe Premiere Pro
