Undertaking this class will enable you to develop practical employability skills. You will also learn English terminology and phrases specifically linked to job seeking, employment, and related matters.
This course covers:
Basic language skills – speaking and listening: Everyday conversations and communication at work
Reading and writing: Reading for understanding and writing emails or reports
Job search skills – CV and cover letter writing: Creating professional documents
Interview preparation: Practising common interview questions and mock interviews
Workplace communication – professional communication: Using effective spoken and non-verbal communication
Interpersonal skills: Working well in a team and resolving conflicts
Undertaking this class will enable you to develop practical employability skills. You will also learn English terminology and phrases specifically linked to job seeking, employment, and related matters.
You must be 18 or over on 31st August prior to the course start date.
You must be at ESOL Entry 3 level to take this course.
Before you start, you need to take an English language assessment to help us place you at the right level.
Your teacher will assess your progress throughout the course. If they feel you are ready, you can enrol on a further course at the college to continue your studies. We're here to help you progress!
