ESOL Entry 3 - Improve your Speaking & Grammar

You will work on improving your speaking, listening, reading, writing, grammar, spelling and punctuation skills for everyday use in life and work. You will learn new vocabulary and grammar and work on improving your speaking and listening skills so that by the end of the course you are able to communicate accurately and fluently in everyday situations.
On this course you will learn how to:
Use clear pronunciation so that you can be understood
Speak to be understood using appropriate straightforward language
Listen to and follow the main points of spoken texts
Follow instructions and get information to be able to achieve a task
Give short talks with relevant details for a purpose
Express your opinions, make requests and ask questions and engage in straightforward discussions

Entry Requirements

To be eligible for this course you must be 19 or over on 31st August prior to the course start date.

Remote Learning:
Some of our courses are now delivered through remote learning, including video conferencing (using Microsoft Teams, Zoom, Skype) and email contact with your tutor.

If your course is indicated as an ONLINE COURSE, you will need either a PC (with a camera and microphone), laptop, tablet, smartphone and access to the internet to be able to join the lessons. Lessons will run at the published time – so be ready and set up to join in.
