Over the past few years, the events industry has been steadily growing. According to Eventbrite, 67% of event organisers expect their events to grow in the number of attendees the next year and 39% of those who work in corporate events expect their budgets to increase.
The qualification is suitable for a wide range of learners who wish to develop knowledge and understanding of planning and running an event. It may be useful as an introduction for those who wish to pursue a career as an event planner or for those working in or preparing for a wide range of job roles in diverse sectors which require them to plan and organise events as part of their responsibilities.

This short course gives an overview of the following topics
Planning an event
Reviewing and evaluating an event
Marketing and market research for event planning
Planning human resources for events
Communication and customer service for events.
Entry Requirements
To be eligible for this course you must be 19 or over on 31st August prior to the course start date.

First Class Requirements
Basic stationary for note taking.
Attendance Requirements
Full attendance is required for each session. If you do not attend at least 80% of sessions then you will not be able to achieve the outcomes.
Assessment Methods
This course does check your learning and progress through a personal learning plan.
Further Study Options
On successful completion of this course you could consider our Level 2 Certificate in event planning (distance learning) or Level 3 related courses e.g. Diplomas, Access to Higher Education - Digital Marketing. Following this, you could apply to study at University, for example a degree in Events Management.
