This intensive 1 day course is a follow on from the Excel-Intermediate course and covers the more complex functions and features of Excel.

Course Content

Using logical functions-Creating nested IF functions
AND and OR functions
Working with lookups
Advanced list management-Using data validation
PivotTables and PivotCharts
Using analytical options- Working with scenarios-
Macros

Entry Requirements

To be eligible for this course you must be 19 or over on the start date of the course.

Individuals who have a sound working knowledge of Excel, who have completed an intermediate course or have equivalent knowledge.

First Class Requirements

You can progress to:
Microsoft Office Specialist-Excel. If you are interested in applying for this course or to take the assessment for this accreditation you will need to have a more detailed discussion with your course tutor at the end of your course.Further study may be required.

Additional Information

As a result of the government’s closure of schools and colleges, some of our courses will be delivered through remote learning including video conferencing, (using Skype, Zoom, Microsoft Teams) and email contact with your tutor.

If your course is indicated as an ONLINE COURSE, you will need either a PC (with a camera and microphone), laptop, tablet, smartphone and access to the internet to be able to join the lessons. Lessons will run at the published time – so be ready and set up to join in.
