Speaking and Listening
Prepare for university-level study in creative and digital media. You will gain the academic and technical skills needed for a successful career. You will also build confidence in critical thinking, research and academic writing to thrive in higher education and beyond.
You should have a grade C/4 or above at GCSE English and Maths (or equivalent) gained within the last five years.
If you don't have these qualifications, you can still apply and provide evidence of other qualifications.
All applicants will take a screening test in Maths and English.
You should be able to write fluently and understand business materials.
You will be interviewed to ensure the course is right for you.
Access courses are designed for learners aged 19 and above.
We may consider applications from 18-year-olds in individual circumstances, requiring a full-time study programme including work experience, tutorials, and enrichment activities.
You'll be continually assessed through coursework, case studies, reports, and projects. This is an intensive course with around 15 assignments in your final portfolio. Regular attendance and meeting deadlines are essential. Expect to dedicate around 10 hours per week to independent study. Successful completion allows you to progress to university or pursue employment in the creative industries.
