Course Content

The story of Alexander the Great is one of the most incredible in history. In an almost unbelievably short period he created a huge empire and dominated ideas of kingship, leadership and military strategy for years after his death. This one day course will examine Alexander?s journey, the sources that tell us about him, the wider impact of his conquests and what happened to his empire following his death in 323 BC.

Assessment Methods

The course will bring up many themes and so requires a reasonable level of English, although no previous knowledge of the topics or history in general is needed.

Additional Information
