Understanding the Effects of Specific Learning Difficulties
Understanding the Diagnosis of Specific Learning Difficulties
Understanding Supporting Individuals with Specific Learning Difficulties
Understanding the Context of Specific Learning Difficulties

Entry Requirements

To be eligible for this course you must be 19 or over on 31st August prior to the course start date.

English at Level 2 Functional Skills (this is equivalent to GCSE Grade C/numerical equivalent 4 or above) and a good working knowledge of using IT

First Class Requirements

Bring suitable note-making equipment. You might wish to bring a pad or lap top device.

Attendance Requirements

This is a qualification course which includes in-lesson assessment and you should aim for 100% attendance.

Assessment Methods

Portfolio of evidence of assessed activities as set and marked by your tutor. The portfolio is an e-portfolio.

Further Study Options

You could progress to further qualifications such as Level 2 and Level 3 Certificates in Supporting Teaching and Learning in Schools; Level 2 Certificate in Understanding Autism; Level 2 Diploma in Health and Social Care; Level 2 Certificate in Principles of Working with Individuals with Learning Disabilities; Level 3 Award in Supporting Individuals with Disabilities.
