Help yourself and your children with Maths
L01422

Children are taught different maths methods at school to help them work out the answers in different ways. However, these methods can be very different from the way their parent/grandparent or carer learnt which can cause confusion. Your course will allow you to become aware of the different maths strategies your child/ren uses and how you can engage and support maths learning at home.

This course is for you if you wish to support your children with school work or home schooling . You will need to have a basic knowledge of Maths and a reasonable level to English to get the most from the course. However, you do not have to be supporting children to get something out of this course. If you want to rekindle your knowledge of Maths or are simply interested in what the current GCSE Syllabus covers and how it is structured, this course is also for you.
