How to Grow your Online Business - Taster (Hillcroft Campus, Surbiton)

Struggling to get the most out of your online presence, or simply would like to learn how to increase your follows or get more visibility?
Social Media are a powerful tool to get noticed whether for work, new friends or just networking. However, not all social media are the same and serve the same purposes.
This session will introduce you to the importance of personal data, and how you can create an effective online presence, using the most common social media.

Course Content

During the session you will explore how you can use Facebook to improve your visibility; how you can make something more instagrammable but also:
- how to increase your followers
- how to get more visibility
- why it is important to keep private and public life separated, and the importance of personal data
- how to use social media channels for different purposes
- how to create an effective social media presence
- how to create content that is positive and inspiring

To be eligible for this course you must be 19 or over on the start date of the course.

This taster is open to anyone who wants to enhance their online presence.

Remote Learning:
Some of our courses are now delivered through remote learning, including video conferencing (using Microsoft Teams, Zoom, Skype) and email contact with your tutor.

If your course is indicated as an ONLINE COURSE, you will need either a PC (with a camera and microphone), laptop, tablet, smartphone and access to the internet to be able to join the lessons. Lessons will run at the published time – so be ready and set up to join in.
