Are you a complete beginner wanting to learn Italian? This course is designed just for you! In Stage 1, you'll focus on introductions, learning how to introduce yourself and share simple information. We'll also spark your interest in Italian culture, exploring its delicious food, drinks, and traditions. Get ready for interactive and engaging sessions where you can join in, have fun, and start your Italian language journey! Course Content
This course covers:
Introducing yourself and others
Numbers up to 100
Talking about family, time, and daily activities
Regular and irregular verbs in the present tense
Expressions with *mi piace* and *mi piacciono*
Useful phrases for food, drink, and hotel bookings
Entry Requirements
To be eligible for this course you must be 19 or over on 31st August prior to the course start date.
This course is for complete beginners with no previous knowledge of the language.
First Class Requirements
Please bring a pen and paper or your electronic device if preferred.
Attendance Requirements
Regular attendance is advisable to develop language skills and ensure maximum progress.
Assessment Methods
Your tutor will discuss your goals with you and assess your progress through in-class observation and activities. You'll track your progress in your Personal Learning Plan (PLP). This course is for leisure, so there's no formal assessment. After this course, you can progress to Italian Beginners Stage 2.
