Why Study This Course?
You have completed our introductory Beginners Italian Stage 1:Saturday Intensive course or equivalent and are keen to extend your vocabulary while starting to use more complex structures and longer sentences.
At the end of this course, you will be able to express yourself in basic conversations on the
following topics: Introduce yourself, talking about the family, work and some basic
dialogues on food.
You will learn about Italian sentence structure, how to conjugate and use verbs in ARE,
ERE,IRE and some irregular verbs to facilitate communication. Other personal information, nationalities, ages, work, numbers until 100, as well as audios and videos, will
help you progress and learn more about Italian culture as well.
Prior to the course students should be able to greet people, introduce themselves and have some knowledge of the alphabet, numbers and simple sentences in present tense.
Learners will discuss their goals with the tutor who will assess their progress during the course through in-class observation and a range of activities.
Homework and monitoring progress in class by question and answer and observation.
Attendance is essential to acquire language skills and guarantee progress.
