Why Study This Course?
Designed for learners at B1 level and above, this lively Italian course focuses on building confidence and fluency through conversation. Lessons include a wide range of fun, engaging activities with plenty of pair and group work to encourage active participation in a relaxed atmosphere. Opportunities for grammar revision and extension will also be provided to support accuracy and language development.
A wide range of topics will be covered, including items of current interest, which will consolidate and expand grammar knowledge and range of vocabulary. The topics will revolve around areas like; Italian traditions, popular culture, geography, history, arts, food, literature, cinema, sport and current affairs. Emphasis will be put on idiomatic expressions, correct usage of verb tenses and spontaneity in speaking, with correct pronunciation and intonation.
Language skills at Level B1 minimum of the CEFR (Common European Framework of References for Languages)
There is no formal assessment with this course due to its leisure study nature. Some writing and speaking assignments may be used to informally assess progress.
