RJS – Rhythm Section Workshop

Being a student at RHACC was an unforgettable experience. The Access to Higher Education Level 3 Diploma in Creative and Digital Media one-year course was highly intensive and, at the same time, very exciting! The course covered a wide range of subject areas, providing me with a broad understanding and an extensive skill set which has prepared me to continue my studies in higher education with confidence.

The quality of teaching and the curriculum were outstanding. The support and feedback I received from my tutors during my studies here helped me feel comfortable and allowed me to reach my full potential. I had a very enjoyable time learning at RHACC. The college has a very nice and relaxed atmosphere, is inclusive and the members of staff are all very friendly and helpful. I received offers from all of the universities I applied to and I am very thankful to everyone. I would love to study here again!

“I first came to RHACC to improve my English, starting with ESOL and then Functional English, which was incredibly useful for me. It helped me build confidence and develop the professional vocabulary I need for my work. From there, I joined photography and graphic design courses, which allowed me to combine language learning with my background in art, content creation, and photography.

RHACC gave me the opportunity to collaborate on real projects, including volunteering, designing materials, and photographing the Winter Art & Crafts Fair. This experience helped me feel more prepared for a professional working environment and strengthened my connection with the college. “After retiring from a very results-driven career, it was refreshing to do something purely creative for pleasure. I hadn’t done anything artistic since before my GCSEs, so this course felt like a real step outside my comfort zone – in the best possible way.

I loved mixing with learners of different ages and making new friends, and the atmosphere was completely non-judgemental. Debra’s support was amazing, with brilliant advice on technique and design, and I really enjoyed learning the theory alongside the practical work.
