Managing Change in an Organization

Change is one of the few certainties in the 21st Century organisation, and for it to be effective it needs to be managed effectively. In this short course you will be able to practise using a number of tried and tested tools and techniques for managing change initiatives in your role.

Course Content

The course will cover several good practice change management methods. Among the topics:
- What are the causes of different types of change which occur in organisations.
- Understand how resistance to change impacts on staff, and develop tools to overcome it.
- Be able to successfully deliver change initiatives in your organisation.

Entry Requirements

To be eligible for this course you must be 19 or over on the start date of the course.

There are no formal entry requirements for this session, but it is advisable
to have some experience in management.

Assessment Methods

The course will include a self-assessment of your approach to change, and there will also be practical activities with feedback from peers and facilitator which will help everyone to achieve the aims of the session.

Additional Information
