You will meet our teachers and discuss your learning needs. We will help you to choose the right course/s to achieve your goals

Course Content

Maths Information, Advice and Guidance will help you to get started on the right learning programme. You will meet our teachers and discuss your individual learning needs one-to-one. We will help you to identify the right course/s to help you achieve your goals. We will tell you what you need to know to be a successful Maths learner at RHACC.

Entry Requirements

To be eligible for this course you must be 19 or over on 31st August prior to the course start date.

Before coming to Maths Information, Advice and Guidance you need to have assessed your current English and Maths skills in our learning centre.
You can do this at any time the College is open. It will take up to an hour, or longer for higher level learners.

First Class Requirements

Please bring any certificates or evidence of prior achievement on English and Maths courses. Please also bring with you photo ID (passport or driving licence)

Additional Information

After this course, you can progress onto our Maths courses by enrolling at reception.

By enrolling on a Maths course you can develop your problem solving, quantitative reasoning, communication and time management skills including working to deadlines. Mathematical knowledge is very important in STEM jobs and in many other jobs. For example, health care professionals need maths skills to treat patients, understand medical tests, and operate medical equipment. In fact, maths is a basic skill in most occupations.
