Mezze is all about sharing, sitting around the table with friends and have a selection of dishes full of flavours. In this course you will discover some famous dishes that will make your family and friends enthusiastic about the Middle East food.

In this hands-on class, you will be introduced to a variety of herbs and spices used in the Middle Eastern cooking and will learn how to prepare a selection of dishes including:
Handmade flatbread
Tabbouleh
Baba Ganoush
Tzatziki

Entry Requirements

To be eligible for this course you must be 19 or over on the start date of the course.

No entry requirements only love for cooking and preparing food.

First Class Requirements

You will receive a list of ingredients to bring to your class one week prior to the class start.

Additional Information

As a result of the government’s closure of schools and colleges, some of our courses will be delivered through remote learning including video conferencing, (using Skype, Zoom, Microsoft Teams) and email contact with your tutor.

If your course is indicated as an ONLINE COURSE, you will need either a PC (with a camera and microphone), laptop, tablet, smartphone and access to the internet to be able to join the lessons. Lessons will run at the published time – so be ready and set up to join in.

We hope you will enjoy this new approach to learning – many of our learners have commented on how they are enjoying the classes and have improved their IT and digital skills in the process.

Additional Information
You will need to purchase the ingredients for the session and bring an apron, tea towel and container/s to take your breads home. You will need a pen for taking notes.
Please note that some of the cookery activities will require working in pairs, sharing equipment, setting up and clearing the work area and equipment independently.
