To start over can seem daunting, and it might be difficult to know where to start.

Being in control of a career new start or shift in role is perfectly possible, but you need to plan carefully and be prepared to put in time and effort.

This workshop gives you a taste of our course offer to support you in the process of re-discovering your motivation, assess your skills, define your goals, and be ready for the next steps.

To be eligible for this course you must be 19 or over on 31st August prior to the course start date.

Assessment Methods

This course will start with a BKSB assessment to assess you current level of English & maths.
This is a funding requirement and is necessary to enrol on this course.
At the end of the course a self-assessment evaluation will be completed.
Feedback from peers and facilitator will help to achieve the aims of this course, in a constructive and supportive environment

Additional Information

Remote Learning:
Some of our courses are now delivered through remote learning, including video conferencing (using Microsoft Teams, Zoom, Skype) and email contact with your tutor.
If your course is indicated as an ONLINE COURSE, you will need either a PC (with a camera and microphone), laptop, tablet, smartphone and access to the internet to be able to join the lessons. Lessons will run at the published time - so be ready and set up to join in.
