You’ll learn how to use different painting mediums, brushes, and palette knives. We’ll teach you basic colour mixing, colour theory, and how to build up a painting using colour and tone. You’ll gain confidence and inspiration to pursue your own painting projects.

Understanding Colour: Learn the fundamentals of colour theory.
Painting Tone Accurately: Develop your ability to see and paint tonal values.

Painting Mediums and Equipment: Gain knowledge of different mediums and equipment.

You must be 19 or over on 31st August prior to the course start date.
Some prior knowledge of art materials, tools & techniques is recommended.
Each session will end with supportive group critiques. This gives you the chance to share your work and receive constructive feedback. Your tutor will also provide individual verbal feedback as you work on projects and participate in discussions.
