Photography - Beyond the Basics

This exciting course will give you a great insight into the possibilities of your camera, and will develop your photography skills beyond the basics.

Course Content

On our course you will cover the following areas of photography:
• Developing composition skills through practical exercises and in class critiques
• Usingraw and jpeg
• Lenses and their characteristics
• Ligh tmetering – exposure, exposure compensatin
• Working with flash
• Focusing
• Working with long exposures

Entry Requirements

To be eligible for this course you must be 19 or over on the start date of the course.

Basic camera skills related to light metering, aperture and shutter speed are essential. The ability to use a computer would be an advantage.

Assessment Methods

No formal assessment but you will take part in group critiques and you'll get feedback from the tutor.

Additional Information

This specialist course has been identified to run with fewer numbers due to either the student demand for the course and subject area or the need for increased one to one tuition. This course will be able to run with only six learners and will have a maximum of 10 in the class.
