Interested in finding out how to save money by growing your own plants from cuttings and seeds? In this 3 hour introductory session, we will explore the basics to plant propagation including taking cuttings and sowing seeds to produce the most successful results. You will have the opportunity to try some of the techniques yourself and will leave with your results to take home to nurture further.

Course Content

This half day session covers the theory behind a range of techniques to propagate plants and includes demonstrations and practical activities.

Entry Requirements

To be eligible for this course you must be 19 or over on 31st August prior to the course start date.

This introductory course is suitable for anyone with an interest in growing plants from scratch.

First Class Requirements

If you have gardening gloves and wish to wear them for the practical activities, please do bring along. A pen and paper to take notes might be helpful.
