Richmond Open Orchestra
C02681

This course will provide an opportunity to play a musical instrument in a group, in the company of like-minded people.

We will explore music from a wide range of sources including film, tv, pop, rock, and classical traditions.

If you own a musical instrument, whether you play it regularly or maybe have not played for a while, this could be for you. Perhaps you yearn for that special magic that only being in a musical ensemble can bring. So dust off that double bass, tune up that trombone and get down to the Open Orchestra at RHACC!

Entry Requirements

To be eligible for this course you must be 19 or over on 31st August prior to the course start date.

Any non-amplified instrument may be suitable.

Lead tutor, Pamela Pecko Smith, is keen to hear from players interested in joining RHACC's Open Orchestra. Please email Pam (pamela.smith@rhacc.ac.uk) to start a conversation about suitability. There is NO audition-if you join and like it, we will hope that you will stay! Please do get in touch to discuss your particular experience.

Further Study Options

Progress from term 1, to terms 2 and 3. From there, it is intended to create further ensembles and opportunities.
