Saturday Kitchen - Chocolate Truffles

This course will teach you the skills to melt and temper chocolate correctly and how to transform fine chocolate and fresh cream into hand rolled, mouth-watering chocolate truffles.

Course Content

You will learn the basics about chocolate, infusing flavours into cream and chocolate, ganache making using different techniques and coating it in cocoa powder, nuts and dried coconut

In this class we will make:
Classic dark chocolate truffle
White chocolate, coconut and lime truffle
Milk chocolate and Earl grey truffle

Entry Requirements

To be eligible for this course you must be 19 or over on 31st August prior to the course start date.

Suitable for beginners

First Class Requirements

On site classes: you will need to purchase the ingredients for the session and have an apron and food container/s to take your dishes back home. You will receive a list of ingredients to bring to your class one week prior to the class start.

You will need a pen/ notebook for taking notes. (Please note that some of the cookery activities will require working in pairs, sharing equipment, setting up and clearing the work area and equipment independently).

Online classes: you will receive a full list of ingredients and equipment to resource for the duration of the course at least 10 days before the course start
