Interested in growing your own food at home? Come along to this fun one day introduction workshop to learn the basics to start producing your own fruit and vegetables at home to eat.

Course Content

This workshop will be both theoretical and practical and will cover identifying suitable places to grow in and around your home; planning your growing year; identifying suitable materials needed to grow your own food; how to sow and tips to grow healthy seedlings including what can go wrong. You will leave with your first crop sown in compost to take home to grow and eat at home.

Just an interest in learning to grow your own food at home

First Class Requirements

Please bring along a pen and paper to take notes and if you wish to wear gardening gloves then do being some along on the day
