Sketch-Up for Designers

An introduction to Sketch-Up which is a free 3D modelling visual software, easy to learn and apply with many uses in interior and other 3D design.

To be eligible for this course you must be 19 or over on 31st August prior to the course start date.

This course is designed for beginners and is open to all. No Previous knowledge of SketchUp is needed as instruction is given throughout the course.
Some basic knowledge of computers will be required. It is also recommended that you have some basic understanding of maths and geometry
Suitable for interior designers, architects, garden designers, set designers and anyone who is interested in creating and visualising 3D spaces

As this is a short course it is recommended to attend all sessions.

Further Study Options

You can progress to the SketchUp Intermediate course or other interior design courses

Additional Information

This specialist course has been identified to run with fewer numbers due to either the student demand for the course and subject area or the need for increased one to one tuition. This course will be able to run with only 6 learners and will have a maximum of 10 in the class.


Remote Learning:
Some of our courses are now delivered through remote learning, including video conferencing (using Microsoft Teams, Zoom, Skype) and email contact with your tutor.

If your course is indicated as an ONLINE COURSE, you will need either a PC (with a camera and microphone), laptop, tablet, smartphone and access to the internet to be able to join the lessons. Lessons will run at the published time – so be ready and set up to join in.
