This course will be delivered online.

This one-day course is aimed at creatives seeking to increase awareness for their work using social media. The course aims to give you an understanding of social media and how it can be used to promote your work. By the end of the course you will have created a fully-fledged Social Media strategy

Course Content

This course is made up of three sections covering:

Principles of social media
• How social media fits in to the objectives of what you are aiming to achieve as a creative
• How to select the right tools
• How to measure their effectiveness

Social networking management
• Using social media management tools
• Classifying and targeting your audience.

Keywords and Optimisation
• Understanding search engine optimisation
• Understanding social media optimisation
• Planning and implementation of SEO

Entry Requirements

To be eligible for this course you must be 19 or over on the start date of the course.

None, other than a basic understanding of computers and the internet. Having a current website will also help.

Remote Learning:

If your course is indicated as an ONLINE COURSE, you will need either a PC (with a camera and microphone), laptop, tablet, smartphone and access to the internet to be able to join the lessons. Lessons will run at the published time – so be ready and set up to join in.
