This course is designed for learners planning to visit Spain and wishing to communicate confidently during their holidays.
The course focuses on practical, travel-related Spanish for real-life and social interactions. Through activities and role-play, learners will develop basic speaking and listening skills while gaining insight into the culture, customs, and everyday life. Ideal for travelers, holidaymakers, or anyone with a passion for Spanish, this leisure course offers a relaxed and enjoyable introduction to the language.
This course introduces the basics of Spanish with a strong emphasis on language needed for travel and holidays in Spain.
Key language topics include greeting people politely, introducing oneself, asking for help, numbers, dates and times, ordering food and drinks in cafés and restaurants, booking accommodation, shopping, asking for directions, using public transport, and dealing with common travel situations such as airports, taxis, and hotels. Learners will also practice expressing likes and preferences, making simple requests, and handling basic social exchanges.
There are no formal entry requirements. The course is suitable for complete beginners or learners with very little prior knowledge of Spanish.
