A Taste of Italian - Part 2

This course will be delivered online.

You have completed our 5 weeks introductory course our equivalent and are keen to extend your vocabulary while starting to use more complex structures and longer sentences.
This fun and interactive course will enable you to build your confidence to use the language in a variety of practical situations.
This course will be delivered online using Zoom or Teams portals.

Course Content

As part of this course you will revise skills learnt in part 1 and learn how to:
Say your nationality.
Talk about your family and what you currently do for a living.
Order snacks and drinks.

You will also learn more regular and some irregular verbs in the present tense and will start to use the negative form.

Entry Requirements

To be eligible for this course you must be 19 or over on the start date of the course.

This is a course for students who have just completed A taste of Italian part 1 , 5 weeks (10 hours) or equivalent.
Prior to the course students should be able to greet people, introduce themselves and have some knowledge of the alphabet, numbers and simple sentences in present tense.

Attendance Requirements

Attendance is essential to acquire language skills and guarantee progress.

Assessment Methods

Learners will discuss their goals with the tutor who will assess their progress during the course through in-class observation and a range of activities

Additional Information

Some of our courses are now delivered through remote learning, including video conferencing (using Microsoft Teams, Zoom, Skype) and email contact with your tutor.

If your course is indicated as an ONLINE COURSE, you will need either a PC (with a camera and microphone), laptop, tablet, smartphone and access to the internet to be able to join the lessons. Lessons will run at the published time – so be ready and set up to join in.
