Taster - Drama for Confidence at Hillcroft (Hillcroft Campus, Surbiton)

Join us for a taster session at Hillcroft, where you will get to try out a few voice and body techniques that can help improve your confidence.

If you enjoy it and would like to learn more, you can join our longer course leading on from this taster.

Course Content

In this taster session, you will be introduced to some simple voice and breathing techniques.

You will learn about the physical space and how we can move within it.

There will be enjoyable drama games, improvisations and drama exercises enabling participants to develop and apply their imagination and creativity. You will work in groups and pairs within a friendly, supportive environment and will be introduced to specific acting and stage techniques, explore vocal and movement skills.

We want to keep you safe while you are at RHACC and as such all on-site classes will have additional hygiene procedures in place, as per government guidelines. Please note that if guidance changes, we may need to make changes to your course, such as reducing numbers attending onsite, or in the event of lockdown, postponing or moving the course online. Entry Requirements

To be eligible for this course you must be 19 or over on the start date of the course.

No experience necessary, just a desire to get stuck in!

Remote Learning:

If your course is indicated as an ONLINE COURSE, you will need either a PC (with a camera and microphone), laptop, tablet, smartphone and access to the internet to be able to join the lessons. Lessons will run at the published time – so be ready and set up to join in.
