This course covers:
Exercises regarding composition and tonality, proportion, object and surround, line and shape
Colour mixing and understanding of hue, value and saturation
Watercolour techniques: wet in wet, wet on dry, laying washes, glazing
Mark-making with various brushes and hydrodynamics
Resist methods, lifting paint, and correcting mistakes
Working directly from objects and photographs

You must be 19 or over on 31st August prior to the course start date.
Some prior knowledge of art materials, tools and techniques is required.
Carers may also enrol with support at Parkshot reception.
Each session will conclude with informal, supportive group critiques, giving you the opportunity to share your work and receive constructive feedback. Throughout the course, your tutor will provide individual verbal feedback as you work on projects and participate in discussions.
