Yin and Yang yoga blends two styles of yoga into one practice, bringing the benefits of holding the poses for longer with more dynamic sequences and standing postures. You will leave the class feeling balanced, calm and relaxed.
Course Content
By the end of the course you will be able to...
- Understand the difference between Yin and Yang yoga and the benefits of each
- Have a better idea how to self practice and the best way to do this
- Use the breathing techniques in your daily life to calm and focus the mind
Entry Requirements
To be eligible for this course you must be 19 or over on 31st August prior to the course start date.
Suitable for people who have practiced yoga for a short time as well as more experienced yogis.
First Class Requirements
Yoga mat essential. If you want to bring a blanket, brick or block and strap (dressing gown strap will do) that would be beneficial but not essential.
Attendance Requirements
There are so many benefits to yoga including improved physical and mental health. It can also help to build your confidence and physical strength.
Assessment Methods
You will begin to feel stronger, more supple and confident in your practice.
Further Study Options
Additional yoga courses, perhaps focusing on a particular aspect such as meditation, pranayama etc.
Additional Information
Wear loose or stretchy leggings/trousers and top. We are bare footed in the class.
