This Jazz Ensemble class will examine and develop a broad repertoire of standard and modern jazz tunes and arrangements for you to develop your performance skills and confidences.
This group will work at an advanced level.
Jazz Piano - Intermediate
This course is suitable for you if you have some jazz piano skills and wish to develop your ability to interpret jazz standards, to improve your harmonic and rhythmic understanding and to develop your improvisation skills. You should have some working knowledge of jazz piano, such as that acquired on our Jazz Rhythm Section Workshop Introduction.

This course is being delivered in the Music Room by Julian Costello. We will look at a repertoire of Jazz standards throughout the term including a Blues, Bossa Nova Swing tune etc and perform together in an informal atmosphere of mutual encouragement where tunes will be discussed and analyzed.
