This is an advanced level course that will develop your skills and knowledge in Computing; a field with an exciting range of employment opportunities that require both your practical skillset and your theoretical knowledge.

Learners will learn how to develop their practical skills through step-by-step confidence building learning experiences that will act as a springboard to further learning and raised aspirations.

This course also prepares for progress to the Level 1 qualification (OCNLR Essential Digital Skills Qualification Level 1) which will give you the IT skills needed to move into administration, office or secretarial work.

Digital Surgery

Our 1-to-1 half-hour digital support sessions are based on our college site at Parkshot, Richmond and are run by our Tech Doctor - Elliot Hunter every Wednesday. After booking onto this session you will be asked to provide some basic information about yourself and your device and allocated an individual 30 minute slot between 2-5:00 pm. You will be asked to complete a disclaimer regarding the service. All sessions are conducted within Covid19 regulations in a sanitised environment.
