CELTA - Certificate in Teaching English to Speakers of Other Languages

Education and Training - Level 3 Award (TQUK)

The Level 3 Award in Education and Training (QCF) is the introductory teaching qualification for teaching adults or training adults in a college or further educational or working environment. You are not required to be teaching already as this course will give you a foundation of knowledge. However, it is also suitable for those who have just started a teaching role (in-service) or those who have been teaching or training for a while but have no specific teaching qualifications.

Further Education and Skills - Level 5 Diploma (TQUK)

This course is suitable for teachers, trainers and tutors working in Further Education, Adult and Community Learning or work-based training within Public, Private, Voluntary or community organisations.

This course can only be taken by those who are employed or in a placement and there are minimum requirements on producing evidence of hours of work, lesson observations and formal mentoring arrangements.  From 1 September 2024, the course will be called the Level 5 Diploma in Teaching (Further Education and Skills).
