Supported Learning

Supported Learning – inclusive education, personalised support

Our Supported Learning provision (SEND) provides tailored, flexible educational pathways for adults with learning disabilities or additional needs. Whether you’re building independence, developing practical skills or enriching your personal interests, our supportive, person-centred approach ensures every learner thrives in a respectful, community-driven environment.

Need advice or support? We’re here to help. Call us on 020 8891 5907 (ext. 7965) or 020 8439 8934, or email supportedlearning@rhacc.ac.uk to arrange a 1:1 meeting.
We’ll take the time to understand your needs, talk through the support available, and help you find the right course for you.

Professional Facilities

Learn in accessible classrooms and onsite workshops at our Parkshot campus, in the heart of Richmond. Our spaces are specifically designed to offer welcoming, low-pressure environments, supported by visual aids, assistive technology and sensory-friendly areas. Outdoor and creative workshops encourage exploration and practical learning.

Expert Tutors and Learning Assistants

Our dedicated team of specialist tutors and learning support staff work closely with each learner to create individual programmes. With small class sizes and one-to-one support, they focus on personal, social and educational development, helping learners to set and achieve goals at their own pace.

Flexible Learning

Supported Learning classes offer flexible scheduling—daytime, evening, part-time, and full-time options ensure learning fits around each individual’s life and commitments. Study pathways are tailored to learners’ interests and goals, adapted according to every learner’s progress and needs.
