Valentine’s Open Mic Night!

Celebrate creativity, connection, and a little bit of love at our Valentine’s Open Mic Night. Whether you’re performing a heartfelt ballad, sharing spoken word, or simply soaking up the atmosphere, this is a relaxed and welcoming evening for performers and audiences alike.

Join us for this Valentine’s Day special - come solo, bring a partner, or gather your friends for an evening of live performances in a cosy theatre setting.

How it works:

• Book a 10-minute performance slot (between 6:00pm and 9:30pm) by emailing Adam.Whitbread@rhacc.ac.uk 
• Perform original pieces or work inspired by love, relationships, heartbreak, joy, or human connection supporting the British values of respect and tolerance
• Performances can include music, spoken word, poetry, dance, drama, short films, or presentations
• Available equipment includes:
• Acoustic guitar
• Guitar amp
• Piano
• Percussion
  (Backing tracks are welcome - please download them in advance)
• On arrival, present your ticket, grab a drink, and enjoy the show
• Drinks available at bar prices

Whether you’re stepping onto the stage or cheering from the audience, expect a supportive crowd, intimate performances, and plenty of feel-good Valentine’s energy.
