Free Courses for Richmond Residents

RHACC is excited to offer local Richmond residents the chance to enrol on a range of free taster courses starting in December running until the summer term. The London Borough of Richmond upon Thames community learning have funded over 150 taster courses ranging from digital skills, courses to help your career and general exercise and wellbeing. Take the opportunity to try out a course – and if you’re converted there are many courses to enrol on all year round if you’d like to continue your learning journey with us. 

Please note these courses are for Richmond residents only who can undertake just ONE of these free taster courses per year.

Digital Skills:

Whether you’re eager to learn more about modern technology or want to enhance your practical skills, there are a variety of digital courses available from web design and networking to filmmaking and video editing. Visit our free drop in Digital Surgery every Wednesday from 1-3pm to help you with all things digital and technology related, see here for more details. 

Courses for Careers:

If you are thinking about retraining and progressing in your professional career, take a look at our range of courses for careers. From counselling and childcare to communicating, collaborating and sharing online.

Wellbeing and Leisure:

Courses range from art and design, music and drama to physical and mental wellbeing. These courses will provide a valuable opportunity for you to relax and unwind whilst expanding your skills.

How to Enrol: 

If you are a Richmond resident, you are able to enrol on one free LBRuT course per academic year, completely free. Enrolment can be completed online, by telephone or at the College.  Your enrolment information will include processes which enable the Borough to evaluate the impact of these free taster sessions.
