Additonal Learning Support

Do you need additional support with your studies at college? If you have a learning difficulty or disability that affects your learning, or need some extra help in class, we offer 1:1 support, specialist equipment, access arrangements for
exams and other learning support as needed.

Our support includes:

  • One-to-one English and Maths tutorials or workshop support
  • In-class support - note taker, reader, scribe
  • Communicator/Signer
  • Special exam arrangements - extra time, rest breaks etc. if appropriate evidence is supplied within the first four weeks of the course start date
  • Specialist software/equipment

Learners on Higher Education Courses should apply for the Disabled Student Allowance (DSA). Please note, if you have complex needs or require specialist equipment, we will need reasonable notice before the start of your course.
