An Evening of Black Arts & Culture - Post Event

On Tuesday 7th December, we hosted an online event, celebrating an evening of culture to promote new emerging Black British talent. We had an online Talk about the Legacy of Black Artists in Britain by an ex RHACC student Kim, she discussed how the Windrush generation contributed to the British Art Scene. Kim works at the V&A Museum as a Cultural Historian and it was great to hear from her.

After the talk, we also had a Photography exhibition play, which was created by RHACC's own staff member Caleb Effiong, alongside this was his own written poetry which talks about his life, love and inspiration.

You can watch Caleb's virtual exhibition here:

Caleb's exhibition is currently being displayed in the Parkshot Campus Atrium - come and have a look if you are around!
