Do you want to reconnect with your body and improve your wellbeing? This gentle movement course is designed for those over 55 who want to explore a balanced approach to exercise. You'll discover how to release tension, improve flexibility, and build strength in a supportive and mindful environment. This course is perfect for beginners or those looking for a low-impact way to stay active and feel good.

Course Content

Designed to recondition and revitalise, you'll be guided to tune into your body's natural rhythms and sensations, releasing tension while improving flexibility, strength, and posture. Each movement is not an aim but a journey. This course covers:
Gentle movement techniques to improve balance and coordination
Pilates principles for core strength and stability
Myofascial release techniques to ease tension
Yoga elements for flexibility and relaxation
Posture improvement exercises

Entry Requirements

To be eligible for this course you must be 19 or over on 31st August prior to the course start date.

This course is suitable for all abilities.
No prior experience is necessary.

First Class Requirements

Attendance Requirements

Attending every session will help to increase your strength, confidence and balance.

Assessment Methods

The tutor will guide you with verbal feedback so that you can progress. This course can be a great foundation for further study in areas such as Pilates, yoga, or other movement-based therapies.
