How to progress your interest through further study
To be eligible for this course you must be 19 or over on 31st August prior to the course start date.
There are no academic entry requirements for this workshop.
You will need to have Level 2 English skills in order to progress to the Level 2 qualification course.
You will need to be able to access online learning. You will need either a PC (with a camera and microphone), laptop, tablet, or smartphone and access to the internet to be able to join the lessons. Lessons will run at the published time - so please be ready and set up to join in.
This workshop is suitable for all levels, especially trainee or fully qualified counsellors seeking continuing professional development. Activities include presentations, Q&A, discussions, interactive pair and group work, and a brief practical session. There is no formal assessment, but active participation in your individual learning plan, group activities, and reflections is expected. You can progress to our Counselling-Introductions course and then the full Level 2 qualification course.
Once you have completed this course, your tutor will advise you if you can apply for the Introduction to Counselling course and/or the Level 2 Counselling course (interview required).
